Red Nails

Survival depends on you and where you place your treasure? If your not happy, you probably need red nails. Don't be silly, not you men, you ladies. Let your heart be light. Oh I'm sure you can think of something to cheer yourself up. Why, because your attitude will determine your fate, and maybe others as well. Today, I danced. Part of my exercise, rode my bike, fussed with my hair, and I painted my nails red. Why? Because, like in the story Henny-Penny, the sky is falling. What will you decide to see? Life goes on. And, how it does is decided by you. After all, it's only paper. Its not the end of the story.

Its hard to imagine that this type of economic situation, will be kissed away, however, you might want to try this prayer: Oh God, allow me to change the things I can, allow me to accept the things I cannot change. And, grant me the wisdom to know the difference. Prayer is the only place to go and has always been. Maybe its time you started to look up, (or within).

Allow me to share this song with you. I don't know where it comes from, but I recall singing it often, while on the swing at the playground when I was a child. During my carefree days. It goes like this:

In Derbytown, in Derbytown the streets are made of glass, and if you go to Derbytown, you'll fall right on your hokus pokus dominokus..If you think its a lie, you can go to Derbytown and see the same as I.

In Derbytown, in Derbytown two men were digging a ditch, one was the son of a millionaire and the other was the son of a hokus pokus dominokus if you think its a lie, you can go to Derbytown and see the same as I.

In Derbytown, in Derbytown two men were digging a well, one man went to heaven and the other went to hokus pokus dominokus, if you think its a lie, you can go to Derbytown and see the same as I.

Lots of logic to the simple song. Didn't quite understand it then, But I sure do now.

We all slip on glass, and go for a ride, whether of our making or not. Just being there is all. We all work hard to get what we have. And in the end, our deeds will determine where we will go? Which will it be?

In Derbytown in Derbytown, one was a son of a millionaire, the other was a son of a hokus pokus dominokus...
